Hardhouse44 289 Posted August 26, 2007 Ok we have only just started and this is only a view for a views sake I guess but it interested me because of the result if you see what I mean. The average of 4 points we have divided by 3 games we’ve played is 1.33 ok nothing ingenious about that. But if you then multiply that by the number of games in the league season 46 you get 61 points (roughly) if you put that in to last years table we would have finished 15th one place above where we actually finished last season. little improvement. Now I know this is statistic manipulation of the very highest order but when you consider that we got these 4 points that I am basing these silly stats on against a team 2nd bottom a team 4th bottom and a team 13th it doesn''t look so good.Oh by the way we are 15th at present. Spooky hey.
nutty nigel 7,902 Posted August 26, 2007 I know it''s only a view HH44 but you are right mate it is too early.Last season we had 6 points from the first 2 games averaging 2 points per game that gave us 92 points at the end of the season and we would have been champions. Sunderland meanwhile got 0 points from their first 3 games averaging 0 points and would have been the first team to end the season on 0 points and would have been relegated by the end of February!
