arrdee 2 Posted August 23, 2007 You lovely old pickers . who want''s to become the one to make the final selections this week ? Who want''s their name in the Pink Un Pickers hall of fame ? to be the first to win the Academy some money ? remember its only 5 selections we need this week , how about Mac P , Jersey or mbncfc as a sorry for not selecting your winning bets ?".Can you sit" ,how did you get on at the V fest ?my son went and enjoyed it . His annual fest is on this weekend , its becoming quite famous now , its been going 5 yrs now ,he is hopeful for 400-500 attendance this yr with all profits going to charity . He has 3 bands booked this year including his own , lets hope for fine weather . Anyhow back to the free bet .If i could just remind you we only need 1 selection from each of you , your "nap" a team that cannot be beat .I makes it so much easier for who ever is making the final selection . So come on you City fans lets go for it , Dixmar Racing cannot keep beating us all the time . I think if we win that first one the flood gates will open .Remember if you love your club as much as i do you will try an help them as much as you can . The cut off point will be midnight fri eve , so whoever makes the final selections just post them sat morning and i will do the rest ,remember no early kick offs please. Thanks arrdee[:D] [Y] . Huddy 0 Posted August 24, 2007 I''m very tempted to put a bet on Pompey and Man City to suprise Chelsea and Arsenal but for the purposes of this i wouldnt risk it!I fancy Cardiff to beat Coventry, and Preston to beat colchester, home wins for Morecambe and Mk Dons are worth a go i reckon. Gentleman Jim 0 Posted August 24, 2007 Good luck norfolkchance1 !Darlington to beat Notts County for me.

Leedscanary 389 Posted August 24, 2007 First time for me is this arrdee, hope you don''t mind me having a go! And with me being a novice picker I''m not sure if you allow conference picks? But if you do, my dead cert this week is Salisbury City to beat Farsley Celtic away from home. Even with the amount of travelling, Farsley are having a nightmare start to the season, so Salisbury should be a banker.Good luck everyone!Kev
mbncfc 1 Posted August 24, 2007 West Ham to beat Wigan for me. The Latics will not win their first four games. Can''t see a draw.
mbncfc 1 Posted August 24, 2007 Oops. They''ve only won two.Well, I still think West Ham will win.

Its another one for for norchance to ponder .Thanks for that Kev [Y] .arrdee.
arrdee 2 Posted August 24, 2007 Now you lovely old pickers .If i could just remind you if you could have one "nap" It would make it much easier for norfolk c 1 . He has so much to ponder already , but i know he will do his own thing and remember norfolkchance1 there is no finger pointing an the free bet board .wont have anything like that .I want you to do your own thing .There is no pressure on you its only a bit of fun for us city fans . It would not be the same with out the Sat afternoon 3 0clock K.O.and watching the results come in .[Y] .arrdee.
can u sit down please 0 Posted August 24, 2007 Ardee....V was fantastic!Im still recovering tho! pleased to say the flag made the box aswell! kasabian were the highlight. cant wait to see them @ UEA in 2wks!!Now...on to the football. Off of the back of my correct prediction last week im going to go with Man City to get a draw against Arsenal. I really fancy them going there and nicking a point. Plus the odds will be good! norfolkchance1 0 Posted August 24, 2007 Arrdee these are the games that I’ve picked from the Pinkun Posters selections for this week, I’ve gone for 3 good away shouts and 3 good home shouts so I really hope we can win some money for the academy tomorrow. MILLWALL (blahblahblah) seem quite handy having grabbed four points from their opening two games and Southend appear to be lost without Eastwood. WEST HAM (mbncfc) I think West Ham got an important win last weekend and should follow it up with a comfortable home win against a Wigan side with a league position that is flattering them at the moment. DARLINGTON (Gorleston Jim) are my tip to win league 2 and have already made a great start they are solid at the back and have a useful striker in Pawel Abbot who is proven at this level. WATFORD (Norfolkchance1) I think there appears to be something behind the scenes between Martin Allen and Mandaric so I feel this will be a great chance for Watford to continue marching on in the same fashion which they have started. SALISBURY CITY (Leedscanary) I’ve just looked at the preview for this game and both central defenders for Farsley Celtic are missing which at any level of football is quite important, also on their last game they were thumped 5-1 by Cambridge U whereas Salisbury City won 4-1. CARDIFF CITY (Peter Grant’s Tartan Army) Even though Coventry are doing OK I’m going for this one as Cardiff are a tough side to beat at home as Ninian Park is quite an intimidating atmosphere. Also Fowler and Hasselbaink are supposed to be playing, if they do they’ll both want to make an instant impression Other Games I nearly picked.MANCHESTER UNITED (blahblahblah)HEREFORD (blahblahblah)ARSENAL (ncfc1)PLYMOUTH (Norfolkchance1) Thankyou to everyone for your input I’ve really enjoyed sorting through the teams and trying to pick the best ones, some names have been in and out of the selection several times but hopefully the ones I have chosen will be the right ones. nutty nigel 7,902 Posted August 24, 2007 Good luck with these norfolkchance1. I was too late to post a selection this week but you can be assured I will be willing your selections to win as though they were my own. This could be the first winning week. If so I''m sure it will be the first of many. [Y]

norfolkchance1 0 Posted August 26, 2007 SorryI picked the wrong ones I think, hindsights always good after the event though isn''t it. I can''t believe Watford didn''t win at Leicester apparently they were awful that was one of my bankers for a certain win. I nearly picked Plymouth to win away at Barnsley but they lost as well. The best positive is that all the games were close apart from Watfords so we were nearly there but just not quite. I was amazed that there were eight away wins in league 1 yesterday and Millwall wasn''t one of them they have quite a good side.I am sure we will win soon, thanks for everybody''s selections and apologies for anyone''s I didn''t pick which won. Time to go Delia 0 Posted August 26, 2007 Not to worry , its much easier picking 1 than having to sort 6 out , i have been doing fixed odds on a Saturday for years and if you get them up 3 or 4 times a season your doing well .

We don''t have anything like that on the free bet board , It was a very good go just look what you would have won with a bit of luck £1,750 remember that , Also remember it has not cost us a penny , thanks to Dixmar Racing .As long as we are having fun on the way and all you City supporters are enjoying it thats important to me . Not many clubs can have that excitement if any in the country , we have the chance to win the Academy some money and we will believe me [Y] .arrdee
