AJ 1,218 Posted August 12, 2007 How about Warner then? After watching him on Match of the Day, he produced save after save to keep Arsenal out untill the 84th minute when they conceeded a penalty. So my question simply is, Marshall or Warner?
Sing Up The South Stand 0 Posted August 13, 2007 Marshall. I know as a goalkeeper TW could go on for a good few more years, but least with Marshall he could potentially be sold on for a lot of money sometime in the future, unlike TW
The Penguin 0 Posted August 13, 2007 Warner had a very good game against Arsenal, however for me it would be Marshall, as said previously he has age on his side, and should mature/improve with age and experience.

hogesar 9,618 Posted August 13, 2007 I was going to comment on the exact same thing. He made some very good saves after only 10minutes notice he would be playing. However, tempers did rise over stupidity, and i question his ability to do what he did then continuously; especially considering most of Arsenal''s shots he saved, you would have really expected him too. blacko 0 Posted August 13, 2007 Marshall without any doubt in my mind
Saint Canary 0 Posted August 13, 2007 Warner is a typical "reserve" keeper. He will play very well for 2, 3, 4 games or so but cannot keep that level up over a period of time.
AJ 1,218 Posted August 13, 2007 Well, most of you seem pretty certain Marshall was the better choice out for the two.I for one have to agree, I really cannot believe we managed to sign Marshall!Especially for so little!Look at Craig Gordon''s transfer!
