Hardhouse44 289 Posted August 12, 2007 There has been lots of talk on here of late about peoples opinions. There has even be accusations of bulling. Which is quite ridiculous. We are all adults at least all the ones who are accused of being bullied or bullying. And sticks and stones and all that.Post after post of people tell us if all we are going to do is criticize then don''t post. Now I was going to entitle my post "If all you are going to do is be hyper positive then why bother" But I would be as bad as those who are posting the opposite. Not that I think they are bad. This is the thing, how incredibly boring this forum or any forum come to that would be if everybody agreed all the time.I for one have been critical of Norwich and am still sceptical of what level of success the current crop of players can bring. However I was pleased with a steady point yesterday and will wait excitedly in anticipation to see for myself first hand what they can do on Tuesday night and more importantly on Saturday.I do feel however that there is a small contingency of poster who seem to revel in our failures and that for me is a crime. Shack Attack 0 Posted August 13, 2007 A very good post Hardhouse, which has been predictably ignored. This is just an internet forum, nothing more, nothing less. What we post on here makes no difference to what happens in the real world. It''s just a place to let off steam and share your opinions with fellow fans. There is a divide on this board, but when you''re talking about a game which arouses the passions like football it''s impossible to get everyone to agree. That shouldn''t cause a problem in itself because we should all be able to respect the right for people to have their own opinion. The problem arises when the divide becomes so large that people on one side can''t agree with anything somebody on the other side says. So you get a situation where anything vaguely negative is jumped on by certain posters and anything positive is jumped on by people on the other side. Saint Canary 0 Posted August 13, 2007 I have no problem with the extreme views of Smudger or someone the complete opposite like Dicky even if I agree with neither. What I can''t take on here is the inability (from some posters) to accept that just because someone differs in opinion they are some how having a go. We all put ourselves in the firing line when we post and should expect to be shot at from time to time because this many people can''t agree all the time. I know many don''t like him but you don''t hear Cluck doing the old "Help, help i''m being opressed" routine.

However nothing would please me more than to win next saturday (not counting tuesdays nothing game) and come away thinking - Yehhhh what a great game we really had a go at them, there is hope for the season a head. I am as ambitious as anyone on this board and want city to win at all costs. Do people honestly think I would shell out £400 on a season ticket and want to see them lose! get real people......... Old Shuck 291 Posted August 14, 2007 Well said Hardhouse.I am glad we can all come on here and argue! Its entertaining and worth a read, and, if some people disagree with me and I disagree with others, then hey...what does it really matter, the thing is, its only a football board, and, as much as we can all get in the zone with opinions and counter opinions, its still not to be taken that seriously!Arthur, Smudger, Cluck at al have very strong views, and, with respect to them, I don''t agree or concur with some of them. But at least they have views and are not afraid to post them. So long may it all continue!
