WHATS UP WITH THE POSTERS ON HERE?

Recommended Posts

We are entering a new era at Carrow road, the first season of a team of Peter Grants making (mostly), yet 70% of the posters on here and on W.O.T.B are moaning.  The attitude sucks big time most of you have us in mid-table obscurity or worse, this all before a ball has been kicked in the Fizzy League. Whats wrong with Grants signings all I can see is that amongst others we have last seasons leading goalscorer in the Championship, the leading goalscorer in the Czech Premiership, one of the best young goalkeepers to come out of Scotland in years, a hard hitting fans favourite in Brellier (90% of Hearts fans would have loved him to had stayed), Russell was a ever present midfielder in a team who only just missed the play-offs. This to me seems to be a side that should and I believe will be challenging for the play-offs. Peter Grant stated on Thursday that 1 or 2 more would come in next week (Shawcross for one) and I think this will be enough. Get behind your team, stop moaning (it could be worse you could be Leeds fans). Lighten up ON THE BALL CITY

From viewing this message board i wouldnt go as far as saying 70% moaning, although I think there is quite a bit due to the fact that a minority of posters have posting negatively when there really is no reason. I feel were entering a new era aswell and feel optimistic about the coming season, and with the squad we have a team capable of reaching the playoffs at least id say.

70% of the moaners are only a small negative defeatist minority, the other 30% are the larger and positive majority - who are the ''Troo Fans!'' And therefore, qualify and truly deserve a free sausage roll and a small glass of Club centenary vile vinaigrette vino - with an ''Event Guard'' escorted guided tour of the kitchens at Carra......

We''ve never had it so good![:|]

This means you are in the minority and need to get with the program or just wake up and smell the coffee......

Dont think theres 70% moaning on here to be fair, the majority of us are excited and optimistic about the season ahead.

We have our resident half of dozen gloom merchants but don''t all forums.

Great post!! I totally agree, it''s the new season, new team and all clubs are level on points so who knows what will happen! There does seem like regular moaners on here who post very regular negative things but don''t worry, some of us are SUPPORTERS not observers!

Agree with your sentiments harleston though not the %''s .We will always have the doom and gloom merchants posting on here . Some of them have valid arguements however are often lost in translation as they are clouded by the fact that they complain about everything. I am sure that even if they do feel positive on the odd occasion that they wont post a positive remark on here for some inane fear of damaging their whinging cred. But the purpose of a forum is to allow people to express opinion I suppose though I am pretty sure there are a number on here who post anti  everything  from some strange desire and pleasure to sit back and wait for a reaction.I for one cant wait to get back in my seat with a fresh start a fresh season and a stronger squad.

Good post Harles...i think the majority of contributors on this board would agree with you. Its just that the MINORITY are far more vocal. They like to jump around and stamp their feet in the playground because no-one outside of this forum is really listening. Who knows we may hit the playoffs, we may not, however i for one support the team, the club and the manager - not myopically, not unquestionably but because i am a fan. I want NCFC to do well, and that should be the common denominator but sadly for some it isnt. I await the sound of stamping feet and sheep noises from the half empty brigade....

top post.what also annoys me is that people slag grant off but he has,got rid of hangers on in the backroom staff(livermoore, webb).gave youth a chance and loaned youth to get experiance.he has gt rid of players who should of went ages ago.(thorne, hendo etc)he speaks his mind(if we''re c*rap  he says wer''e cr*ap).he slagged the fans off but i think he as right, the atmosphere at cr is somewhat poor(1-0 up in tha last min the ground should be buzzing),last season was probaly one of  the poorest atmosphres for a while especially away(all people seem to do was shout shooooot every time safri got inm t he opponents half or done that stupid clap thing for that idiot hugues),i no we were doing poor but its the fans who make it.its the first time in ages im looking forward to a season, give the man a chance!!!have seen a lot worse managers and squads and never remember seeing this amount of negetivity

keep the faith otbc

What annoys me is all of the moaners moaning about the moaners. Perhaps if you stopped moaning about this alledged moaning the moaning would overall decrease?

Having said that....then your ilk might have to look at the reality of NCFC 2007 style and so in turn become moaners yourself?

Just a thought.......

What a waste of internet space, why bother typing rubbish. What do you or any of us know about the team of 2007/2008 season, I will tell you a big fat NOTHING. The friendlies/post season knock-abouts count for zero, I played football at conference level for a few years and when playing in friendlies you pull out of hard tackles, you don''t over do it incase you injure yourself before the real football starts. So if you can tell me the reality of Norwich  2007/2008  style then use must be a psychic and should not be wasting your talent posting on here you should be on the telly or earning your fortune predicting horse race results or something.

Do the opposition not do the same? This seems to be as big a waste of internet space.

I hope we don''t run out of internet space. Shame on you both for wasting it.

I support NCFC I never boo a yellow and green shirt, a season ticket holder for years, a true fan through and through but its not blind faith. Iv watched the "off the pitch" ambitions of NCPLC grow and grow as the "on the pitch" FOOTBALL wither and apart from the odd high spot nearly die......its NCPLC that''s killing the FOOTBALL at Carrow Rd, its not the players who for the most part do the best they can but if they are not good enough because they were cheap or a free........you buy quality its not given to you. The manager who ever he is can only spend what NCPLC gives him and if that''s not enough even with a full house game after game you end up 16/17th looking over your shoulder for the drop.

I really hope this season "on the pitch" will come first Carrow Rd but I''m not holding my breath.    Rant over    Good luck to Grant and all true City supporters but don''t believe the NCPLC "poor little Norwich" spin.

Why blind faith? its not, its called being optimistic about the forth-coming season which is what I''am. Norwich City I think have shown their belief in P.G and have supported him with his choice of players, he wanted Billy Sharpfor example P.G was allowed to spend a large amount on him. I also get a bit tired of hearing the being prudent statement by the club but understand it is the only way clubs like Norwich can opperate, if this is not done you end up going down the Leeds path. The solution as I see it, to being able to afford more on players and their wages is to increase the size of the ground again as I am sure demand would allow for a nearer 30,000 capacity. Correct me if I am wrong but I think another level or 2 can be added to the south stand and it has been built in a manner that allows this. Please don''t think that just because some of us think the club are doing something right that it makes us pro the board and that we go along with all the spin that does at times come from Neil Doncaster. We will see what the new season brings but don''t knock people down for seeing good times ahead you never know. ON THE BALL CITY

Doncaster has already said we have to be successful "on the pitch" before NCPLC would consider wanting more fans in Carrow Rd by adding an upper tier to the main stand.
