NavMan 0 Posted March 10, 2004 Sunderland 3 Preston 3Another pretender dropping home points. I still think that Sunderland have too many games in hand to sustain a strong challenge. Points in the bag are always a better bet.
susie b 0 Posted March 11, 2004 Plus Slumberland have to play about 7 of the current top 12 in their remaining games. This should mean that vital points will be dropped, but if they win them all they will deserve to go up. Can''t see it happening though.
MadDan 0 Posted March 11, 2004 Much as I have been saying.Noclub appears able to put together a winning run. Remember us two years ago.Look at last week with West Ham drawing at home and Wigan losing at home. Others drew, yet we won.If we get to under 10 games with still a nine point lead between us and third place it''s going to be almost impossible for us to be overhauled.A draw sat and a win over Gillingham and we are already in a play off place. Given that on current playing record we will need 83 points to go up anyone saying we can''t get 3 wins and a draw out of our last ten games is a sadly lacking in believe.Never mind Palace - get your tickets for WATFORD AWAY !Promotion at ReadingCHAMPS AT WATFORD - remember the rain soaked game in ''
