Bovril 206 Posted July 31, 2007 David Marshall - Saved us without doubt in the first halve, once again had to save us from a woeful defenceAdam Drury - Getting beaten time again but in the second halve looked a different player and made some vital last ditch tacklesJason Shackell - Ala Drury, zamora gave him a run-around, zamora is an excellent playerGary Doherty - Again dealing with ashton wasnt easy but gradually got better but not good enough im afriadJohn Otsemboor - Hmmmm.. looked a bit iffy, didnt look like he knew what his role was but got forward well, signs of a bit of arogance thoughLuke Chadwick - Tried really hard but kept meeting a wall of 3 west ham players, looks good though and will definately do a jobDarel Russell - I thought he looked nervous in the first halve but it was my mistake, for after he was taken off you could see a gapping hole left behindMark Fotheringham - Didnt look too bad, but it seems like he was playing an anchor role when i thought he was a creative midfielder?Andy Hughes - Sorry but when the whole team improved in the second halve he got worseJamie Cureton - Looked lively and willing but outmuscled by a strong west ham defenceDavid Strihavka - On this showing, alot of work is needed, looked lightweight and couldnt get into the gameSubsChris Brown - After marshall, my mine of the match.. really changed my opinion of him, held the ball up well, looked for it, linked play well and took a nice goal, well doneLee Croft - reminded me of when he first joined, plenty of effort and with the crowd made some surging runs that led to the goalChris Martin - didnt really get into the game, again playing wideMicheal Spillane - on for 2 minutesDion Dublin - Made a small impact holding the ball up well
