Positives and negatives from yesterday's game

Positives

• Marshall looks like a good shot stopper. Certainly kept their score down.
• Cureton looked quite sharp at times. Should score and set up a few.
• Croft looked as if he had a point to prove.
• Brown got stuck in and took his goal well. Still not convinced though.
• Russell may not have the skill of Etuhu but he certainly has more commitment.
• Chadwick showed one or two nice touches.

Negatives

• Doherty looked as bad as ever.
• Looks like Shackell''s poor from has continued into this season.
• Ditto Drury.
• Hughes looked as bad as ever.
• Have still seen nothing from Fotheringham to convince me has has what it takes at this level.
• DtS looked way off the pace.

All in all, I was expecting the whole game to play out as the first half did so the second half was pleasing. However, I simply don''t feel there is the quality in the squad for us to finish much above mid-table.
