The Ballad Of Smudger and Cluck

 

Through thousands of postings we’ve argued at length

With Smudger and Cluck as to true Norwich strength

They castigate Delia  as a villain supreme

Holding back all progress of a much better team

 

When asked for all options their well of wisdom is dry

“We’ll protest, we’ll stay away” is all that they cry

They point out the rest of us will soon see the light

And join their crusade to get rid of this plight

 

Cluck obviously sees himself as puppeteer king

Winding and twisting our thoughts by a string

Smudger’s verbage is more like a china shop bull

Knocking down every post so the thread appears full

 

This dynamic duo are clearly wasting their time

As “On The Ball City” supporters continue to chime 

Of course there are others who feel some unrest

But they’ll soon come around when we are playing our best

 

Smudger and Cluck, however, won’t come around

Because success under Delia is not acceptable ground

Whereas if success is our mission we should all just unite

And focus our efforts on the real battle to fight

 

But Smudger and Cluck can be employed for the fight

By becoming Canary agents on the Ipswich website

The ground is more fertile, the debts twice as much

Cluck should find target appeal in Sheepshanks as such

 

Imagine the devastation our duo will claim

As Sheepshankers have not one signing to their name

Ipswich website activity is just north of zero

And lights could go out with a punch from our heroes

 

This could also be therapy for Smudger and Cluck

A new lease of life for the bull and the duck

They’ll return to our world as two wonderful men

To go down in history as “Delia’s best friends”

CA - Oh the irony!!, we have a man with an unhealthy fixation on Cluck and Smudger, who very rarely attends any games, who has added absolutely zero to the debate, has continually attacked a fellow poster and you love it. Just imagine the uproar if Cluck or Smudger had posted such a banal piece!! Clang....my irony meter has just broken!!
