Steve Mortlock 0 Posted July 14, 2007 Exeter went ahead on 11 minutes when Jamie Mackie took advantage of some sloppy defending to fire the ball into the net. A minute later it was 2-0 with Adam Stansfield giving the Conference side a surprise early advantage.i know it is a pre season friendly, but lets get some non sloppy defenders in. dont stop spending, use it wisely to get defender of real quality into the ranks. Carrow89 186 Posted July 15, 2007 ''apparently''yep that just about sums it up......... apparentlyWell it was not Docherty. Nothing really to do with either goals. Eagle was not playing out wide enough and allowed the Exeter lad far too much time on the ball, as did many of the City players early on.But then I''ve not the comfort of an armchair, so what do I know.
