Beatle 0 Posted June 29, 2007 Just been on Radio Norfolk that Jamie Cureton is ''on the verge'' of re-signing for us.I didn''t hear it personally, I got a text from an EDP reporter saying he heard it.Also says on Sky Sports news that Sheff Utd haven''t made any sort of bid for Sharp! However, a deal between Colchester and Norwich is nearing completion. The 31-year-old began his career at Norwich, making 29 league appearances before spells with Bristol Rovers, Reading, QPR, Swindon and Colchester. Cureton only moved to Layer Road on a permanent basis last summer, after a successful loan spell in the 2005/06 season. He scored 23 goals in 44 league appearances, but cited a perceived lack of ambition when he handed in his transfer request. Hull chairman Paul Duffen recently revealed that Cureton was a target for Tigers boss Phil Brown. So, is he Earnshaw''s replacement?
