Graham Paddons Beard 2,791 Posted March 17, 2004 I, like many others, use this board on occassions purely for therapy. Here I go again...85 points is realistically what we should get. I have (yet again) looked through the fixtures and can see where we should get 15 more points. Having looked at what others have needed to go up in previous years (Leicester 92,Blackburn 91,W Brom 89,Man City 89,Bradford 87Barnsley 80.) do we think that this will be enough?Trouble is that three of the wins in the Graham Paddon''s Beard Ready Reckoner dont come until the last few matches so I do fear a nervous end to the season and Worthy''s comments (re fans getting edgy) may be ringing in our ears for a little while yet.By the way does everyone feel as terrible as me? Mid table mediocrity has a lot going for it...at least you can sleep at night!!!!
Loughborough Canary 0 Posted March 17, 2004 I agree with you about mid table mediocrity having its benefits. Being at the top, every game is so tense, especially since I only listen to Waller. Also, the games seem to come along so slowly. Part of me wishes I could just wake up tomorrow and it be the end of the season so I could be put out of my misery. I wish I could just enjoy it.
