We would have been relegated last season.....

..........based on 1st half performances! This is a very stark reminder of the improvements essential next season.

Fortunately that was compensated by our 2nd half performances based on which we would have finished we would have finished 10th (but look who finished 4th - hush!).

Interesting Bly, especially given that Earnie was out of action for most of the second half.

I wonder if it was Jim Duffy''s arrival that helped to turn the corner?  He brought experience and he also takes care of a lot of the office-based side of management, so that Peter Grant can get on and manage in the way he wants to.  Duffy is Grant''s best signing so far imo.
