Sharp impressed!!!

Recommended Posts

Says on the official site that hes had the grand tour and is very impressed. The only thing that worries me is the tone of what his agent is saying its almost like a "well its nice and everything, but we''ll see".

I would be amazed if the tour didn''t woo him like it did Ashton and Earnie they never looked back.

Looks as if he''s still gonna wait for another club to bid so maybe this is why we have gone after Eastwood too just in case. There is no way we will get both is there???
I hope Norwich gave Sharp a deadline to respond so we can concentrate on players who want to come and play here.  I see similarities between Sharp and Cotterill and we all know what an impact Cotterill made on the Premiership last season.

I dont see how anyone can fail to be impressed by the facilities that we have to offer. None many clubs have a state of the art training centre like us plus by the time hes been given the guided tour of lovely areas to live in and had a chat with the passionate Grant , Dublin and Hucks, his mind will be made up.

Cmon Billy you know you want us [:D]

Sharp and Cotterill also have the same agent I''m afraid. Although different personal representatives, they are a part of the same agency company (the name escapes me).

I''m certainly not holding my breath on Billy deciding to come here. If he doesn''t want to, we go and get someone who does.

Grant would have no doubt got his own vibes from the tour and had private discussions with Sharp as to what he wants.  We all know the same - what we read in the press, and we can specualte, but non of us, expect for Grant, Gunn et al will know what is going on.  We''ll know when they call a press conference.

Sharp and Cotterill?  In the season before he was signed by Wigan he managed to score an amazing 7 goals, thats hardly comparable to Sharps'' 32.  If you ask me it was a real Godsend that we missed out on him!  Sharp is different, and although I really don''t think we are going to land him (I really hope I''m wrong!) he would grace any Championship side

Of course he says he is impressed. They always say they are impressed ... it''s the courteous thing to say after spending the whole day there. It gives no indication as to whether he is thinking of joining or not.
If he was that impressed he would have signed, i want players who would walk to norwich to play for us not a last resort.
dream on. He''ll "want to play for us" if his pay packet is fat enough. What possible reson could he have for "wanting to play for us". Even most Norwich fans would play elsewhere if the money was better.

I''m sure we would have given him a couple of days to talk to his family and I''m confident that Grant would have given him a deadline.

If theres no news by Monday 5pm then I dont think hes coming.

Cureton would walk to Norwich to play for us but then people are divided about him!!

Agreed C A. we will give him the weekend to mull it over but cant wait forever. if he is dithering over the offer than we have to look at other targets.
