What's the difference between a thin squad & a thick squad?

Paul McVeigh and Phil Mulryne are in a thick squad (or at least a fat one).Is there a punch line coming sometime bly? It seems so like the opening to a joke.

I think you''re more like Blanch Smudger, Cluck is Norris and Wayne sounds like Emily!!
