Sharp headlines.

Recommended Posts

Whilst we''re waiting for young Billy-boy to make up his mind, we could pass some time by playing a little game - if your''e game.

Think of all the headlines we might see next season. Here''s a few to start the ball rolling.

''Sharp blunt"

''Blunt Sharp''

''Sharp edges Town''

''Sharp spearheads pin Robins"

''Billy sharpens City''s appetite''

''Sharp City dull Blades''

But many of you can do much better than me.

Sharp slices open defense

Billy guns down Town

Billy has got his gun as he hits Ipswich for three

Sharp has the edge

Defense cut to pieces

Too sharp!

Just Sharp enough

Not Sharp enough

''Sharp exit'' - for out traditional early cup exit!

''Sharp Shooter''

''Lee''s Sharp'' - Croft and Sharp score in the same game

I''m struggling now as that last one clearly shows!

Or next week.

''Sharp practice''

Could work two ways.

''City complain of Sharp practice''   or..........

''Sharp practices at Colney''

Sharp as attack - City employ a 4-5-1 formation with Sharp up front on his own.

Shar Pay - City miss out on dog-faced striker due to wage issues

Pencil Sharp-ener - Billy loses weight in pre-season training

"Blunt not Sharp!!!"

£3million for a player that has never played in the top 2 divisions???

Why not let Scunthorpe keep Sharp for a season and walk for nothing next year?  No way we should spend more than £1.5mil on him.

- Sharp Shooters hit Town for 7 (seven).

- Sharp hatrick stuns Ipswich.

- Canaries too Sharp for sorry Tractor Boys.

- Billy the kid Sharp Shooter scores hattrick against Ipswich.

- Norwich, too Sharp for Ipswich, the perfect Cure-ton to last week''s defeat,  Earnshaw''s their promotion to the Premier League.

I''ll get my coat[:$]

Beacause someone else will buy him before next year - that''s what happens with good players!

Whoever wants to sepnd £3million on a player that has never scored at Championship level and Sheff Utd gave away for nothing is welcome to him...

Too much of a gamble I''m afraid...  Plenty of decent forwards available for half of that money...

Get Riordan or Chris Porter to partner Earnie and let Scunthorpe over inflate the price on their player...

If we goit a decent partner for Earnie and Cureton as back up, plus a few other players in defence and midfield then the best striker in the Championship would be more than happy to give us another year I am sure!!!

I agree Smudger it is a gamble, i may be so wrong but i have seen the guy play and i honestly think it''s a gamble that would pay off and he would score at least 20 a season for us - may be wrong as i say but i guess we''ll only know if he signs
