Smudger 0 Posted June 23, 2007 "Blunt not Sharp!!!"£3million for a player that has never played in the top 2 divisions??? Why not let Scunthorpe keep Sharp for a season and walk for nothing next year? No way we should spend more than £1.5mil on him.

Plenty of decent forwards available for half of that money...Get Riordan or Chris Porter to partner Earnie and let Scunthorpe over inflate the price on their player...If we goit a decent partner for Earnie and Cureton as back up, plus a few other players in defence and midfield then the best striker in the Championship would be more than happy to give us another year I am sure!!! Cobain18 0 Posted June 24, 2007 I agree Smudger it is a gamble, i may be so wrong but i have seen the guy play and i honestly think it''s a gamble that would pay off and he would score at least 20 a season for us - may be wrong as i say but i guess we''ll only know if he signs
