James Kent 0 Posted June 16, 2007 Therefore will it be fair to assume that Sharp is likely to sign for us.
Huddy 0 Posted June 16, 2007 Good, a positive post. You''d thinks so wouldnt you, and i cant see sharp (or eastwood) going there to sit on the bench, and with boothroyd and keogh there already i cant see them both signing. And with Sharp set to make a decision, and us the only others right in the frame, a positive thought would tell us that if he moves we could be the destination! Time to go Delia 0 Posted June 16, 2007 Or Watford or Sheff Wed , or Sunderland or Derby.Dont think its that clear cut that Eastwoods going to Wolves we will get Sharp.
Crazy Eddie 0 Posted June 16, 2007 Wolves will sign Sharp aswell. Look how many strikers Birmingham signed last season. Didn''t do them any harm either.

Mr_Chimp 0 Posted June 16, 2007 Agreed with the above, but none of these players will be content with ''squad'' status, surely?
broadie 0 Posted June 16, 2007 We''re missing nothing by not getting Eastwood. I''ve watched him a lot this season and he doesn''t have what it takes. ''A scorer of great goals, not a great scorer'' is the phrase that springs to mind.Southend should have sold him at Xmas - they''d have at least double what they''re getting for him now! renegade tootsie 0 Posted June 17, 2007 I am beginning to worry that the club are obsessed with signing strikers. All our issues last season lay further down the pitch. We have Earnshaw (ok it might be a replacement for him we are seeking, but we do not know that yet) we have Huckerby, who is not going to play left midfield next year, we have Brown (rubbish but he is in the mix by being there) Martin (ok back-up) and Dublin. So we may well need a number one or two striker, but why have we not been linked with ''bigger name'' players further down the pitch, we obviously have money to spend.
Therefore will it be fair to assume that Sharp is likely to sign for us.
James Kent 0 Posted June 17, 2007 Quite, that was my main point Sharp won''t sign for Wolves to be third or fourth choice. I agree with the poster on Eastwood I don''t think he is that good for the top two divisions. I accept that Sharp may not be good enough either, but if we are going take a chance I would rather we did it on Sharp. I also accept we have problems at the back, but I think we need to improve the team in all areas.
