lord montyjones 0 Posted June 15, 2007 the only times norwich have spent big they nearly double the transfer fee paid on both players. earnshaw and ashton were never going to be major gambles. quality players, at the right age especially forwards are what the club needs now. Haven`t you realised yet that throwing millions at new box offices, subsiduary companies, new offices to rent out,a new pitch, stand refits etc. whilst the team declines on the pitch is sound business sense? Whilst investing money on quality players to give us a fighting chance of a £50million promotion (or a hefty transfer profit) would mean inevitably "doing a Leeds"?Or maybe you`re not as brainwashed as alot of people on here. The priority has to be central defence and midfield.Unless we can plug our defensive frailties we are going nowhere.

Surely it couldnt be any worse than the mid table dross we we''re in last season.,then again im giving PG a couple of more weeks in the transfer market to change my mind but im not holding my breath we are just not attractive to the players we are linked to as other clubs are and thats the reality of it. Sorry guys.
