See! they DO read message boards.

Well, at least ''Eggy'' West Hams new owner does, a large aricle and interview with him in todays Sun''s Sort page quotes him as saying its vital that he keeps up on the online fans views and opinions.

And if he does that, then sure as hell so do others up and down the country. So using him as an example I just like to say:

Good morning Delia,  now can you please S*d Off!.[;)]

Sorry Wiz but you have to be the most pointlessly repetitive and tedious poster on this board. Any chance of hearing something positive from you....... or changing what is the dullest record on this forum?

I would be surprised if the Norwich Board or management spent much time looking at this board to guage the views of the online fans,

there are so few of them it`s hardly worth the bother, particularly as you know what they will say before they say it. The word "fan" is also questionable.

I suspect they do occasionally have a look for a laugh and then go back to the day job.

The on line views would have more influence in my opinion if they were more balanced. But that`s clearly not what this board if used for, and good luck to you if you can get yourself off by seeing yourself in print.Self gratification is probably better than being frustrated and bitter and a great release to many.

Good luck next season Norwich and dont keep us waiting to long for the new players we are desperate for. If we do get off to a bad start and the talk of good new signings turns out to have been a smokescreen then you may well want to have a look at this board after 3 or 4 games and will be likely to see a much wider representation of online views.

I''ve seen him in the last year go from hating delia and loving Worthy, to hating Worthy and loving Delia, hating Grant and then loving Grant finally we''ve gone to hating both Grant and Delia. I won''t be surprised if we make some good signings and/or have a good start to the season, his opinion will change yet again, most likely there will be a post entitled "I still hate delia but I want her to stay" or "Grant''s winning me over!". Now cue Wiz saying "I''m allowed to change my opinion!", which true you are welcome to do that, but it makes you a hypocrite [:P]

It was only a short time ago that you were signing up with the other "conspiracy" theorists to suggest that many of the more positive posters and defencive posters were actualy paid NCFC "agents" coming onto the boards to try and sway the "popular" anti-Delia and anti-club movement.

If they really do read this site I hope that they look at the majority of posts on here and come to the same conclusion that the majority of us seem to come to and just think:

" . . . please S*d Off!"

When they read posts like this and those of the Smudger the Fudger orientation.

Chicken:

A typical response from somone who''s too entrenched in their ways to:

a. Accept anyone who''s flexible and won''t buckle down to the mantra and spin that they''ve swallowed!.

b. Can''t stand the fact that other posters find that person popular and fun to read.

c. And are green to the core with it.

As you haven''t been elected forum spokesman yet.............I won''t sod off, and even if you had, I''d still ignore it!.

UEA:

When you play Devils Advocate like I do a lot of the time, accusations of being a hypocrite comes with the terrority. If  I''m proved wrong on Delia and Grant, I will apologise tppo them with or without your permission, to do otherwise would be arrogant.

And I will do that, even if the price of doing that means that posters like you can accuse me of changing my mind again and being a hypocrrte.

But thats what sets me apart from the herd and pack I quess, I can and do behave that way and pay the price for doing so. And do you know what?.

I wouldn''t have it any other way matey![:D]

Oh Wizard!

"...Good morning Delia,  now can you please S*d Off!.Wink [;)]..."

You keep making these statements but you don''t offer any glimpse into how it might happen, how you would like to see it happen, or, crucially, what part YOU will play in making it happen (heading up a consortium perhaps?) and why it will improve the team and make us ambitious? And I wish you would!!

Delia is not going to "s*d off" and just leave it at that. Someone, somewhere, is going to have to buy her shares AND her husbands and then, as that money will be going to them and not the club , perhaps invest about £5 Million extra into Norwich so we can buy all of these players we have been missing out on! You make it look so simple, Delia and the rest of the board just upsticks and leave, maybe they will just give their shares away and perhaps add some money as well, a little parting gift, to you and all the fans, "...here you are Wizard, for contributing feck all yourself, but never mind, you have said ''sod off'' so here we go, we are ''sodding off'' as per your request, where would you like us to ''sod off'' too, exactly..?"

You''re all talk and no action. So you''re not happy with things at the moment. Fine, that is your absolute right and privilige, but please please PLEASE then do something about it, rather than just hiding behind your keyboard and making the accusations, followed by your sanctimonious and self righteous follow up''s to posters who dare to question your wisdom, I sometimes think you regard yourself as the Moses of Norfolk, clambering down from the mountain with the tablets of knowledge and wisdom, nay, revelations, concerning Norwich City FC, and we, those sheep (we follow the herd, bleat bleat etc etc) should stand back and accept your words and proclamations.

Mate, I do agree with a lot of what you and Smudger, Arthur etc say. And no, I am not a Delia/Board cronie, I want whats best for the club as much as anyone on here does. But I fail to see what these statements of yours, hour after hour, day after day, weekly, monthly, every season it seems, are ever going to achieve? And because your message is so regular, so repetitive, so full of bluster but devoid of action, I am afraid it is you who is in danger of being part of the "herd and pack", all together, all baaa''ing away, same old song each and every day. Do you want to buy Delia''s shares? Do you want to buy mine? Do you want to do something about the way hte club is ran? Suggest something then! Some of us might even rally to your flag, but please, lets see some originality and some proposals of what needs to be done and how, rather than a oh-so-controversial "S*d off Delia", followed by the sight of yet more tumbleweed blowing across the horizon...

I think i know who you are! You''re a foreign investor! Well, your english is certainly good! Who''d have known ''eh?

Anyway Mr. Wizard, indeed i think they do read message boards, but more for a kick than advice im afraid Wizard. Or is Wizard Delia? That would be pretty awesome, disturbing, and ironic. Woop woop! [:D]

Being honest i have no clue what i''m rambling on about but i''m enjoying my free-spirit at the moment =-)

If they read this message board do you not think that they already know your views - so they don''t need (another) specialised thread.

My posts on here have gone beyond simple spelling errors now, I''d ask the moderators the reason for this but I can''t be bothered!, hell,  I doubt this will be printed now.

Secondly, as is usual for this message board, threads go off topic in favour of personal point scoring.

I have said a lot more than my glib ''sod off Delia'' quote that you use, much more. Maybe, you just missed my posts, I don''t know, but I''ve advocated for quite some time now seeking investment from foreign investors.

Ms Smith publicly stated that she would block that move!, whereas I, and many others think that she is naive to think like that.

I''m not a shareholder, and with the board and my present feelings towards them I would be a hypocrite to back them in that manner, even if I had the money!. Shareholders have told me that the AGM is a whitewash and just a PR endorsement for their prudence policies anyway, a philosphy which of course I don''t share.

As my finances are limited, I can only support the club through a matchday ticket and buying merchandise from the club shop. However, because I can''t afford that much cash, it dosn''t give you or anyone else the right to say ''put up or shut up''. There are thousands like me, and not just at City, who enjoy our football and supporting our lads on the field.

Unlike many who stand in the Barclay, I haver never booed our players!. Yet those same boo boys, will post on here and gladly attack me as being disloyal etc.

Is it any wonder I get cranky on here sometimes?.

As far as I'' concerned there are 500 hypocrites in the Barclay alone (and I''ve witnessed them!) and yet you and other posters on here will happily pick on me yet keep quiet about the fans who damage the team whilst they are playing on the pitch.

And thats one thing the 1st wizard has never done!!.

Yes, I may well have missed other posts of yours-will try to be more attentive, but, as you probably know, time and tide and all that during the day. Anyway, heres where I do agree with you. I was concerned about Delia''s reaction to potential foreign investment, I believe her quote was "never never never"? Now I am left wondering if Delia actually has any right to have that attitude to foreign investment? True, she is the majority shareholder-but her position is that of holding the club in trust and eventually pass it onto future generations, fans, and shareholders. So I think it was a little bit of tunnel vision when she said that, she seemed to be advocating that foreign investment was a bad thing-forgetting Mandaric at Portsmouth, a foreign investor, nay, one from "far off " (!) Europe into the bargain. Portsmouth fans have a lot to be grateful about as far as he is concerned. Delia advocates local (ie) Norfolk investment and investors. Now, she may have come out with her "never never never" quote with the Turner''s in mind (ie) she knew they were coming aboard so realised the need for her to look for ''furriners'' was irrelevant. Indeed, I welcome the Turner''s presence and think that, long term, they will be the major players and owners, no, trustee''s of our club. BUT...with us remaining as the only team to come out of the Premiership more skint than when we went into it-a remarkable achievement-would it have been irresponsible for her to turn down a proposed, for example, £20 Million bid from an American, Canadian, European investor? You do , of course, look into these things with grat care and do the old "due diligance" but to think she would have written off any approach just like that-and maybe would still do so now-bothers me. And you only need to recall what happened when one fan and "local" put his time and money into Leeds United-stand up Peter Risdale, proof that being a native and loving the club isn''t always the best thing as your heart tends to dominate when sometimes-and this is why a certain Mr Doncaster is valuable to us-your heart rules your head.

Some recent shareholders AGM''s have been somewhat similar to elections in a banana republic with all the tried, tested and faithful in the crucial places, asking the silly questions, and prepared to mass, en-bloc to shout down those that ask questions, it seems that they are allowed their say and heaven help anyone who interrupts, but, if someone makes an opposing point, however clearly and lucidly, there are cries of "dear oh dear oh dear" and "he doesn''t know what he is talking about tut tut tut" which just brings people down and "encourages" them to shut up and sit down. Splendid tactics but unworthy of those responsible.

As my finances are limited, I can only support the club through a matchday ticket and buying merchandise from the club shop. I''m not saying "put up or shut up"-you have made your point, strongly, vehemently, and with some clarity, but you keep on making it! Can you raise a football related post or something contrary to your usual threads? Everyone knows where you stand, we''re not going to forget you or anything! Plus, it would be nice, as Arthur has attempted to suggest workable alternatives to what we have, thats all. Still waiting for Arthur''s alternatives mind you!

Unlike many who stand in the Barclay, I haver never booed our players!. Yet those same boo boys, will post on here and gladly attack me as being disloyal etc.

Nope, never booed a player either. Sometimes they frustrate the hell out of me and a few words are said, but not what they can hear.

Is it any wonder I get cranky on here sometimes?.

I guess people will say they pay their money and that gives them the right to boo or whatever. Fair enough. But not something I''d do. Recall not doing what the England "band" wanted me to do once -sing along or something- and getting told that "you ain''t Ingerland" because I wouldn''t bop to the "Great Escape". Same thing-you might have the right to your excrecable little band but please give me the right to totally ignore you!

Old Shuck:

Your reply was like a beacon in the fog my man, clear, sensible and its inspired the hell out of me.

So much so that I make a promise to you and the whole of this message board right now. You''re right, I have made my position on the board and Delia very clear, in fact I had become like a cracked record!.

Therefore, from today you will see no more posts from me on those two subjects.

On Peter Grant, I''m still not sure to be totally honest with you , so on Peter, I will agree to ''shut it'' with the criticism for this season and see if he can come up with the goods.

Everything else is up for grabs but minus any cheap shots at the people I''ve just mentioned.

This isn''t a climb down, change of mind or anything else.........my views haven''t changed a bit, but enough is enough, I realise now that I was becoming boring , and that defeats the object.

Thanks for your imput today Shuck....................you may have started something new.

Cheers.
