Having said this, with some money now obviously availabe, what defenders would you like to be seen signed? Defenders go undiscussed a lot of the time, so there are less obvious candidates compared to forward positions (eg, Eastwood and Sharp). So, who would you like to be signed? After that, Otsomobor (sp?) would do nicely along with a lower league Centre Half who maybe struggles to hit a 40 yard pass, but will take no prisoners, will get rid at every opportunity, will quite simply defend well and in no way would you every dream of sticking up front. Perfect. (not sure who that is though. have a sift through the teams that fail to make the playoffs I say, or those going up.)That leaves one hard-@rsed midfielder to captain the side from the centre, and then another lanky striker as competition for Brown, and I think we''re there. mbncfc''s guide to 2007/8 success.
