BlyBlyBabes 0 Posted May 11, 2007 I don''t really mind that our joint major shareholders (owners) were born in Woking, Surrey (the wife) and Wales (the husband).Or mind it really too much if our future owners were born ''in foreign''.Carrow Road wiil always be in Norwich, Norfolk, England. But I do dearly and passionately mind the difference between little old norwich............. and Norwich City, Proud Canaries, Kings of the East. To borrow a phrase .............Who was it now who said that ''patriotism is the last refuge of the scoundrel''?OTBC

Gentleman Jim 0 Posted May 12, 2007 Unfortunately BBB we have not shown ourselves to be "Norwich City, Proud Canaries, Kings of the East", Colchester took that title this season with Ipswich perhaps being heir to the Eastern throne. Only Southend saved us from being the Court Jesters.
