How does being "very quick" make him anything like the next Chris Martin?

In the way that Chris Martin isn''t very quick.

He is without doubt the quickest academy player for a while, but definately needs to improve his shooting and final ball to even warrant a place on the bench. Certainly a good prospect for the future though.

Pace doesnt make u a good player.. we can all run.. and with treaining we can run fast.. but give us a ball and we fall on our backsides...

and Chris martin is taller, slower, and a lot stronger than Bailly Smart... so they wotn be much alike at all!

jas :)

How the hell can anybody be "the next Chris Martin" already. The boy''s only played about 15 games.

It can only be a few days until we unearth the next Bally Smart!

I am very excited about Bally Smart. Great pace and looks a good propect but is still very raw and as others have mentioned he needs to work on his final ball/shooting. Definitely one for the future but very different in style to Martin!
