IF I WERE A RAM...............!

Recommended Posts

..........................I would not want to be facing Norwich City away at the moment.

There you are sitting atop of the most average Championship league for years where things are far from guaranteed for so many clubs and the next fixture is away at a resurgent Norwich City with quality misfits keen to prove a point.

The success starved loyal supporters still see Derby as a big name club and would like nothing better than to knock them off their perch.

Carrow Road will be jumping. Huckerby is in the mood. The new lad can''t stop scoring for fun. There is competition for places and Grant wants results.

This is a perfect fixture for Norwich. Derby need to come out and play. It will be an open game and afterwards we''ll be asking how we can play so well and be so underacheiving.

Look out Rams....here comes a team with wounded pride, a point to prove and a new found conviction.

If I were a Ram I wouldn''t be looking forward to the forthcoming Tuesday in Norwich.

I really HATE to be positive but i am actually looking forward to this game now.  There is some balance to the side now and we have a run of games without getting our ass kicked.  Still badly need to get some clean sheets though.

sure thing rude old.  teams can suddenly blossom all at once and find their feet and form.  perhaps city are beginning to get the idea.  we have creative players its just getting them to show it, and i think grants influence is helping us.  worthy was always on about work ethic, while grant on radio norfolk phone in last night confirmed the players were fit and had legs, but that they perhaps didn''t think enough.  wolves and sunderland didn''t look that special at carra rd - but they''re in a winning grove and challenging now.  if city could turn over the rams, who are misfiring of late, and also brum, it would do our confidence no end of good, and would bode well for next season.  forget pride park, lets get some pride down at carra rd after the disappointments we''ve had of late.

I agree with you Mr Hucker. Despite them thumping Colchester 5-1 on Friday night I quite fancy us beating Derby on Tuesday. I doubt very much that they will be one of thos teams that come to CR looking for a point, I think they will be full of confidence and will look to attack us, which should suit us down to the ground.

I agree, with the codicil that Barnes looks like he''s playing absolutely out of his skin and our defence have to be on their game. But there''s no reason we can''t beat them 6-5!

Good post Rude Old. After the two results last week we couldn''t be going into this fixture at a better time and at home as well! Lets hope the new found confidence carries through from the players and that the fans will really get behind the team! It will be a very tough game there''s no mistake about that! I would be happy with a point but let''s really go for the throat and make it three wins on the spin!
