a1canary 0 Posted March 7, 2007 This game sounds like a case of what goes around...!Remember the game at Carrow Road in our promo season? Maybe it was the same ref! We were totally outplayed that day, had a player sent off, missed a pen but got to take it again for no obvious reason, and then scored an undeserved winner in the 4th minute of injury time. That was when i started to wonder if we really could be going up. Derby fans must be believing the same.
mbncfc 1 Posted March 7, 2007 Derby hadn''t won at Carrow Road since 1987 before last night''s game. This is a very good call A1. I am a big believer in things coming around and the law of averages...Which is why Selhurst Park annoys me so much... Surely we''re due a win there...Also, I very much doubt we''ll pick up 3 points on Saturday sadly (but I''d love to be surprised)

Greeno was on top form that night.
a1canary 0 Posted March 7, 2007 Was that the game where what you always wish would happen when you see the opposition keeper in your box for a corner, happened!? That is, the ball falls to one of your speedy front men (Darren Eadie) and he gets to run the length of the pitch with the hilarious sight of their keeper helplessly chasing him for all he''s worth, Benny Hill style, before your striker gently rolls it into an empty net!Or was that at Carrow Rd? From memory, i''d say that was probably a bit after 94...

I think the keeper had gone walkies beforehand somewhere. It was in the 1997-8 kind of area. Then there was Bellaz who scored from virtually the corner flag after Simon Tracey tried to cut out a throughball from just outside the centre circle! That was about 2000/1 against Sheffield United at Carrow Road.I''m sure neither are what you''re referring to A1, but good times...
