Faded Jaded Semi Plastic SOB 1,223 Posted February 28, 2007 One of my mates who works in our Edinburgh office is a Hearts season ticket holder, I will see what he has to say about this player.

A defensive midfielder...could be handy competition, but hope it doesn''t mean Saffs on his way.

Has played a couple of games for Inter Milan...If Burley saw fit to sign him for Hearts then my bet is that he can do a job here...I hop that it does mean that Safri is on his way!!! Faded Jaded Semi Plastic SOB 1,223 Posted March 1, 2007 Info from my mate in Edinburgh - Been no mention in the press here because there is so much focus on all the other turmoil going on with Hearts."Julian Brellier was signed by George Burley from Inter Milan and was a very popular player with the supporters last season as a defensive midfielder who is tremendous at reading dangerous situations and breaking up the play when teams counter attacked. For me he has poor distribution and gives awy to many free kicks, often in dangerous positions. At his best though he would be a graet asset to Norwich, particularly if you are a very attacking team as he will give you good defensive midfiled cover. Romanov never liked him and that is why he rarely features in the Hearts team now. Jimm Duffy obviously knows him from his very short time here and if he plays at his best he could be a very good signing"
