So Why The Change Of Tune Peter Grant ?

Recommended Posts

I am amazed to read Peter Grant moaning about the criticism the players have received in recent weeks and how he doesn''t want negative people around as they bring the team spirit down . Is this the same Peter Grant who did nothing but publicly criticise his players after every match , even if they won away at places like Birmingham ?? Is this not the pot calling the kettle black ? Let''s at least have some consistency please .....Or perhaps he may have learned at last that publicly criticising the players is not the best way to motivate and inspire them to perform .

Grant has clearly learned that criticising all the time is not the way.. when it needs doing im sure he will... but when it doesnt he isnt doing it..  He is learning fro his mistakes and that can only be good for the future under him.

To be fair to Grant he is a new manager and he will make mistakes along the way. Time will tell if he''s learning from them or not. But the old adage remains true "The man who never made a mistake never made b***** all."

Word on the street is that Grant hasn''t changed his tune, it''s still "Donald Where''s your troosers" on a loop on his mp3 player.
