0King Juan of SpainddMMyyyy0Falseen-USTrue 0 Posted February 15, 2007 Depends how far you want to drive - the one we always do is drive to Redbridge (Essex, a couple of hours drive) tube station, park there and take the central line in. Allow yourself an hour to get to Stamford Bridge. Otherwise you''re best to go as far south of London as you can - Stamford Bridge is an absolute nightmare to take the car anywhere near. Accy Stan 0 Posted February 15, 2007 Redbridge has a manned carpark, almost at the bottom of M11.
Village Voice 0 Posted February 15, 2007 I always park at Epping- the advantage over Redbridge, which I used to use, is that you don''t have to cross the M25 interchange- delays possibly??It is easy to find as you drive into the town and free parking about 200 metres from the station. Hooleyfan 0 Posted February 15, 2007 Parking in the Victoria area, (not the Victoria Station end) can be quite quiet at the weekend, particularly where there are few shops. The area south of Victoria St, around the Home Office (Marsham St) gives you the opportunity to park on single yellow lines and parking metered bays (not in operation on Saturday) and then its a 5 minute walk either to Westminster, St James Park or Victoria where you can pick up the District line and you are just a half dozen stops from Fulham Broadway.
