ca 1 Posted February 9, 2007 They must have it bad in the Midlands then, bout time all clubs had under soil heating installed.
Rudolph Hucker 0 Posted February 9, 2007 I remember writing before about the value of the Cup result at Blackpool in terms of gelling the new players with non-league games. After this postponement even more so.
Steve H 0 Posted February 9, 2007 It will be 3 games for a bit due to the fact that the Derby County match has been put back due to the FAC 5RD.

7rew 0 Posted February 9, 2007 With 2 weeks off from the league we will surely drop places, lowestafter saturday is 18th, after next week, 19th (fortunately QPR, Lutonand Hull miss games in this period as well) On the flip side the highest we can be is 16th this week and 16th nextweek, Coventry play Leicester next weekend, so one should go above us,even if both lose this week, we only stay 16th if Leicester get beatenby Ipswich, and beat coventry by at most the same margin -1, Coventryalso have to lose. Realistically this means that we will be 17th orlower by the end of next weekend.I doubt we will drop to 19th, as only Coventry, Leicester and Barnsley can pass us. They have:Coventry: Cardiff (H) & Leicester (A)Leicester: Ipswich (A) & Coventry (H)Barnsley: Colchester (H) & Southampton (A)I doubt that Barnsley will get 6 points from those two, which they need to overtake us.A positive from this is it gives Shacks longer to recover from his injuries.A negative is that our next league match is Preston (A), so we are likely to lose it (they are 2nd). ......and Smith must score. 1,334 Posted February 9, 2007 It''s snowing hard in the Midlands right now so our game won''t be the only one to suffer..........
Huddy 0 Posted February 9, 2007
It''s snowing hard in the Midlands right now so our game won''t be the only one to suffer..........
.....and here in North Norfolk we have had nothing!!
Pyro Pete 1,889 Posted February 9, 2007 I wonder what date this will be rescheduled for. We already have 6 league fixtures in March and April. At least this gives Drury and Shackell more time to get up to match fitness. Plus with this and the Burnley game pushed back, it gives Chadwick a chance of having a greater impact if and when he returns.

pickle79 0 Posted February 9, 2007 What a joke!! frozen pitch,I live 2 miles from luton and its been raining all day so the snow is all but melted,I thought a frozen pitch meant that the ground is to hard, but obviously I am wrong because my garden along with every other field around here is soft.Should the referee or the groundsmen or whoever it is that postponed the match have waited at least until tomorow morning before making such a desision? Rudolph Hucker 0 Posted February 9, 2007 And if some had their way we would have been looking forward to this match after the mid-winter break.
