Robinson - no fee due to Bosman

Am i right in thinking that we get no fee for Carl Robinson due to the fact he has joined on a bosman?

 i thought a pre-contract agreement could be agreed when he had 6 months left to run on a contract and he would join at the end of the deal?

if not then surely Toronto owe us money?

or have i missed something?

He had 18 months left on his contract so it wouldn''t have been a Bosman. The club would have just released him from his present contract - terminated by mutual consent, hopefully with no wages being paid upfront... Then he becomes a free agent to fly to Canada.

I believe there was a whip round during the half time interval at the

wolves game , with many fans contributing as much as they could

afford  to force the issue .Obviously they dont watch championship

football in canada OTBC

No fee due to City either.........this does beggar belief.  If we were going to give away dead wood, there is a long queue ahead of Robbo.

Even if Wiz is wrong and we are not broke, we are not so flush as to be able to pass over transfer fees especially for an "intelligent" international footballer

Hasn''t robinson played in  nearly every game under grant,please can someone explain the free transfer
