At least he wanted to talk to us, which shows that Grant HAS the ability to attracted interest from players. I note in the press today a total of 119 deals have taken place (compared to 56 last year). The ability Grant now has to show is actually completing a few signatures this month. Canary02 0 Posted January 10, 2007 We have every right to expect that now the first choice midfielder has rejected us, we have a second choice option that we will be bidding for immediately, whether it be Edwards of Shrewsbury or whoever.I agree that Pearson was always unlikely to come to us given his past relationships with both Davies and Keane, but at least Grant got a foot in the door, which Worthington probably wouldn''t have bothered doing.
