Norwich City v Plymouth match thread

Earnie hasn''t got over his knock then?

Wonder how much sense it made to play him last week now if he had a knock-guess Grant did so to avoid all the inevitable speculation had he not played?

I just hope it isn''t one of these famed NCFC "little twinges" that lead a player to be out for God knows how long-I rememnber Louis-Jean had a "tweake" just after he joined us, and look where that has led!

Dublin and WLYP is an interesting pairing. Would imagine Brown will come on for Dion at half time or just after?

alot of surprises in this squad!!!

a) Earnshaw not starting (i know he had the injury but i still wudve expected him to play)

b) Mcveigh starting! has he been on fire in training? or is he being put in the shop window?

c) Chris Brown, our new ''hitman'' is going to be scoring and setting up goals from the bench?

d) Chris Martin, on the bench.. great news!

Teams for today''s match at Carrow Road (3pm).

Norwich City: Gallacher; Colin, Doherty, Shackell, Drury; Croft, Safri, Etuhu, Huckerby; Dublin, McVeigh. Subs: Lewis, Hughes, Robinson, Brown, Martin.

Expect Brown to be on the bench but delighted about Chris Martin was on the bench, let''s hope he get a call and scored a dream debut goal!!!!

The Defence is still disorganised and still gifting goals. Next priorities1) A central defender who can organise a rabble and tell them like a schoolteacher what they have to do. Three yard unmarked headers will not do, and we can''t go on giving free kicks away round the box.2) A goalkeeper who can dominate his area - Camp or Marshall - Gallacher just is not up to it!3) A left back to provide competition for Drury and a right back who can reasd a game.

Drury is the pure and utter personification of a player who knows no matter how he plays, he will always have his place in the team...
