Gentleman Jim 0 Posted December 22, 2006 When I was a lad the semi professional Eastern Counties League used to include ''A'' teams from Norwich , Arsenal, Chelsea, West Ham, reserve teams from Colchester and Peterborough, together with Yarmouth,Gorleston, Lowestoft, Lynn etc.,The City ''B'' team played I think in the N&S League. If it was the same nowadays there would be ample games each week for our younger players and injury recovering seniors to gain some much needed match experience.I wonder if this would be possible, likely or even useful to us to happen ? Yellow Rages 0 Posted December 23, 2006 We don''t have a choice, this is dictated to by your status in the league system.
Regime Change 0 Posted December 23, 2006 It would be a good idea if it would mean that they would be playing more competitive games. The other laternative, as Grant has pointed out, would be for players to go out on loan.
