hogesar 9,658 Posted December 24, 2006 I think alot of us heard the amazing finish of Dublins against wolves, but he was pulled offside.Well, my interesting fact is that in 2003, Dublin was in the TOP 10 Premiership goalscorers, not of that season, all in all.It went:Player Clubs GoalsAlan Shearer blackburn/Newcastle 221 Andy cole Les ferdinandRobbie FowlerTeddy SheringhamDwight YorkeIan WrightDion dublin Manchester utd/coventry/villa 108*up to and including the 02-03 seasonHe can put ''em away!Hogesar.. Regime Change 0 Posted December 24, 2006 Dublin is undoubtedly a class player. Even at 37 he is an asset to the club.I just hope the club has the common sense to keep him at the club in some capacity.
hogesar 9,658 Posted December 24, 2006 I forgot to mention, he was 8th, despite him being the last one i listed.D''you reckon we should have him like a teddy sheringham?
koimatsuba 0 Posted December 25, 2006 Dublin even at 37 is just excellent.Supplied both goals for earnshaw with flick ons and head downs etc...We MUST keep him on for another year as a emergency player and footballing coach to the defence and Forwards.Once again our defense was shown to be wanting against Wolves. All ball watching for many of there attacks. Thank god they can''t finish ethier.Overall it was 7 out of 10 for the game. Earny hit the post as well and dublins was only just offside unlike thier goal where it clearly 3 to 4 yards!!!! Cheers All
The Great Drinkell 50 Posted December 26, 2006 Oh how we change, This surely isn''t the same Dublin who was slatted on this webb site when he was bought in.- I will admit some of us did think he was a good signing but generally Worthy was lynched for this signing.
