he 0 Posted December 26, 2006 Peter Grant has to buy a whole new bunch of players. The only players which is good enough is Rob Earnshaw, Huckerby, Lee Croft and Dublin. And maybe Shackell and Drury (only with good and right players to play with them in defence). A whole new midfield, a striker and one or two new centre-halves is necessary to stay IN the Championship and hopefully thereafter climb up the table and towards the play-offs.The current crop of players is not good enough. Yousef Safri which maybe is our best central midfielder is a good player every fifth(?) match and that is not good enough. A good player on a team trying to get promoted to the Premiership has to be good EVERY match. And that is the big problem with Norwich City this season. We don''t have players who is stable enough to compete on the other end of the table. We lack leaders on the pitch. A Malky Mackay type of player is missing. I also miss Gary Holt''s running and his never give up attitude. That means we need winners and not players which is happy just being there. I think (and hope!) Peter Grant understand that we need new players. If not, Norwich City will be competing against relegation to Division 1 this spring.
