Cheeky Monkey 0 Posted December 24, 2006 We have been handed some relatively easy games over the next few weeks, Southend (H), QPR (H), Palace (A), Plymouth (H), Burnley (A), Wolves (H), Leeds (H) and Luton (A).Apart from Palace Away, where we often lose stupid points, and Burnley away these should be easy games for a fully fit Norwich squad.A potential 20 points here. This board is so depressing at the moment, so I thought I''d give you some hope on Christmas Eve.So 20 points and 4 new signings (Camp, Marney, Riordan and Chadwick), let''s look forward to 2007.HAVE A GREAT CHRISTMAS EVERYONE! Regime Change 0 Posted December 24, 2006 I think 20 points might be over optimistic. 12-15 points is probably more realistic.

Some new signings, Chadwick back and Dion available up front - no problem!
Citizen Journalist Foghorn 0 Posted December 24, 2006 I''m going with 14 points from these 8 games - if we are lucky.
hogesar 9,503 Posted December 24, 2006 I suppose its possible. We wont go 7th, because any team in this league can put a descent run together. Hopefully 10th place, perhaps, PERHAPS 9th. 7th id be extremely happy.

YankeeCanary 0 Posted December 24, 2006 Hogesar said, "We wont go 7th, because any team in this league can put a descent run together."Priceless! I wonder if hogesar can figure out the ironic humour his input provides ( unintentionally )?
hogesar 9,503 Posted December 24, 2006 Whatever ironic humour i have provided, it is unintentional. Please explain, my 15 year old intellect isnt helping me atm.

alex_ncfc 643 Posted December 26, 2006 20 points from the next 8? After listening to this shower this afternoon, I can only conclude by asking - whatever you''re on, can I have some?Listening to Norwich games has become a chore. God knows what it''s like for those who have to sit and endure it from the stands.
Smudger 0 Posted December 26, 2006 Quite frankly there is more chance of martians landing on the Earth this New Years Eve....I would go for somewhere between 5 and 7 points as a realistic target (should be enough to keep us in about 17th or 18th place). Cheeky Monkey 0 Posted December 26, 2006 I apologise for such an optimistic posting. I am a season ticket holder and have not missed a game all season. It is my birthday on Saturday and I have a 6 week old daughter. I''m damned if I''m going to waste my birthday or precious time with nmy family watching that rubbish again.SO apologies to all of you. I was wrong. If we get 6 points from the next eight games I''ll be shocked.
The Fish Seller 0 Posted December 26, 2006 Dont apologise Cheeky Monkey, if only our players showed a fraction of the belief that supporters like you still hold....................
Citizen Journalist Foghorn 0 Posted December 27, 2006 20 points from the rest of the season looks a safer bet at the moment. What the hell are we going to do when Erny is sold in January??[:(]
