QPR game

With Drury likely to remain out with his hip injury what options do we have defensively?

Of the first choicers only Shax is left footed but he has only performed appallingly when put at full back,  which suggests putting flem in the middle with Shax out left is not a good option (even more when you consider how porous the defence is when Flem starts with Doc).  As such I would suggest that we have to go with the usual reserve full back - I am shamed to say I am not sure who this is, is it Bexfield?

Despite his tremendous effort Hughes had a torrid time against southend and Lee Cook is likely to pose an equal threat tomorrow.   Is the best option we have a wrong footed midfielder?

Alternatively I suggest a 3-5-2 formation,  playing Doc, Shax and Colin at the back with a midfield 5 of Hughes Safri, Etuhu, Croft and Hux, with Dion and Earnie up front.

Of the four options I think I would change formation as it uses players intheir prefered position, but beyond that always go with the dedicated player - so its the reserves day for me as first option, eventhough I dont know his name, ahead of Hughes then Flem.

Any other views?
