New Years Resolution!

Recommended Posts

Is it ..

A) Forget Worthington and the protests and give Grant a chance to turn things round and support the club through the highs and lows as he does it.

Or..

B) Carry on with the atmosphere of protest, spend the rest of the season moaning about Worthington and lobby for more changes in the team management and at boardroom level.

The choice is yours.

Its a resounding A from me Nutty.Lets have a bit of positivity around the place for once. I read from one idiot on here after yesterdays game, his only summation of Safri''s fantastic performance was to highlight the couple of times he gave the ball away.Ridiculous and typical of some people on here...

It has to be an A for me, and I would hope for everyone else (some hope, I imagine!). I can''t see the point in continually harping on about the past and moaning about our position, the fact is that we are where we are and the way forward has to be to pull together.  Continual negativity doesn''t do anyone any favours, and PG has to be given a chance.

The point is that some people want it both ways.  They say Worthy took us backwards and the squad he left us is crap (something I don''t agree with, though we are thin in numbers), yet PG is crap because he can''t get them to play well: if they are indeed poor, just how could it be any other way?

I put the next bit on another thread but it is probably more at home here: not wishing to sound unduly positive but for those who look want on the bright side there are several things to be happier about going into the new year (some would be more happy to accentuate the negatives so these are in brackets): we are actually on a run of sorts - 3 unbeaten (though one win in 6) with 2 clean sheets (against poor sides), we have a nearly fully fit squad (though still too thin in number) which has allowed PG to settle on a striking partnership and formation which might just work well (though Earnie will probably leave). At the end of the day we are still well within striking distance of being in the shake-up at the end of the season (though at either end of the table!).

I suppose at the end of the day the coming month will help us to see where we are headed - a few astute signings and we could well go on a good run.
