Riverender 0 Posted November 27, 2006 We sell out to capacity each week, we have a queue for season tickets a mile long, we have the best travelling fans in the Championship, we have one of the best behaviour records. It doesnt sound like there is a problem with the fans to me. Perhaps I am missing something.... maybe a manager who understands the club!
canary cherub 1 Posted November 27, 2006 1. Quality is as important as quantity. 2. "Best behaviour record"? - unfortunately, cheering the opposition when they score, or chanting "We''re shit and we''re beating you" when we do, or booing an 18-year-old in his second game, or booing Andy Hughes before he''s even kicked a ball isn''t classed as bad behaviour . . .When will you stop feeding off Delia''s "best fans in the world" cynical marketing ploy? We''re not the best fans in the world, simply because there''s no such thing. It''s an utterly meaningless statement, along with 90% of what comes out of the boardroom. Where is Delia today btw? You''d have thought she''d be standing up to defend her "best fans in the world" . . .
