First Wizard 0 Posted November 21, 2006 And we got a monkey!.Thats my thoughts on Grants performance so far. I had thought he was doing okay, and then up pops the bizzare team selections again, and the old changing a winning side routine. His faith in Donkey Doc, Robinson and Hughes is quite beyond my logic, as is his constant slagging off of Hucks ( I believe we''re being set up here for a January departure!) He has ruined Hucks performance and destroyed his confidence since his arrival, Grant seems to be always having a ''pop'' at the chosen one in the media, and yet Hughes and Co get off Scott free!. And just like the worthless one, youth has little chance here.We needed Tilson, okay, I know where Southend are in the league at the moment, but they have only one real player of championship quality in their team anyway!. Tilson has loads of experience and we get a bloody novice!, thanks Delia!. Yes, I know we enquired about Tilson, in the usual Norwich manner of taking the first NO for an answer, but we should have pushed harder.I know PG is playing Worthy signed players at the moment, but I don''t believe anything will change much in January, Grant will still have his big mouth, and his favourite crap players, I fully expect us to lose Hucks to balance the books and mask the board financial failings, but thats okay, because in my opinion, Grant only got the job because he''s a yes man like Worthy was.So I''ll say again we needed an organ grinder and we got a bloody monkey!. [Y] don''t go changing [:D][/quote]Why shouldn''t I change my mind? my friend, PG does it like the wind, from youth to a winning side, he does it all the time. No wonder I''m confused!.[;)]
Delias Buns 0 Posted November 21, 2006 Wiz, Ive been a reader of these boards for some time now, and you have my full respect, though I dont believe you should voice such different opinions so frequently. It''s needless to say that we are all entitled to our opinions, but in this case we have to sit and wait until January til we can judge PG. Personally I think hes made a good start to his NCFC reign, and yes, maybe he should have kept faith in Dublin on Sunday, but he will prove to us all that he i the right man to take us forward.
