E I E I E I O 0 Posted November 7, 2006 I think we should raid Southend in January, They appear to have some really good players watching them against Man U.Flahavan the Keeper looks excellent, How much would he be?

Chris Meadows 0 Posted November 7, 2006 the same keeper who had a stinker at the weekend against Wolves. Not saying he is shit but you can''t judge him on 1 game

Cluck 0 Posted November 8, 2006 I reckon Freddy Eastwood will be going up to the Premiership after tonights show again......good player.
whoareyou? 0 Posted November 8, 2006 Eastwood looks a top quality player. Sadly i think he will go to a bigger club than us. Aston Villa are rumuored to be ready to bid in Jan. That woiuld be a good move for him!
Hayden 0 Posted November 8, 2006 classic gut reaction to a group of players who have their moment in the spotlight, play out of their skins and suddenly become must haves for every team in the division...despite the fact that in previous weeks they couldn''t raise their game for a league clash in the rain and all played c**p!What I would agree with is the quality of the crosses swung in by that left footer of theirs on the wing, if only we could put in crosses like that eh? O.T.B.C 0 Posted November 8, 2006 My cunning plan for Eastwood is as follows, we give Southend 1 million, Peter Thorne and Carl Robinson and loan them untill the end of season, Ian Henderson and Ryan Jarvis and we get Eastwood, won''t happen with teams like Aston Villa etc sniffing around but at least we can try.I thought old Spence played well last night, I always thought he was a good player for us, no I don''t want to sign him but thought he was good. canary cherub 1 Posted November 8, 2006 Spence''s finest hour imo. Climbed inside Rooney''s shirt and stayed there all night.Useless but interesting fact of the day: apparently Freddy Eastwood comes from a traveller family . . .

The Voice of the Thorpe Area 0 Posted November 8, 2006 Not as good as us, we beat them 2-0! And we drew at Southend...we are therefore better than United!

huck tastic
Bryan Hamilton could turn this around...
0 Posted November 8, 2006 The two Southend players who could add something to our squad are, I think, Eastwood and the ex-charlton right-winger Campbell-Ryce...Eastwood is maybe out of reach pricewise £3m+?...and also not really the target man that would bring the best out of Earnshaw...Campbell-Ryce had a superb first half, but it would be interesting to know how consistent he actually is, looked very pumped up for a game against Man U though, and we certainly need more depth on either wing
arrdee 2 Posted November 8, 2006 Eastwood could have been signed by worthington 3 years ago for 1/2 million but he did not rate him ,so there we are .
chicken 0 Posted November 8, 2006 Neither did West Ham who were at that point bellow us in league standings. If onlys are pointless! Just go on to flown the nest and see how many young players we had on trial and missed out on not to mention accademy players we let go. Infact one has managed to come back in Dublin but there is Zamora, Shittu to name but two others.

Why single out Worthington?
