Unlucky Fried Kitten 0 Posted October 15, 2006 In his photo on the front page of this website, Peter Grant has more than a passing resemblance to president GW Bush, so I wonder if he can imitate his voice as well. It could help to lighten things up a bit at some of his post-match interviews in the future. Can anybody else see the likeness?
Tom NCFC 0 Posted October 15, 2006 Great, we''ll got from Worthy lack of words to Grant''s Bushisms... Yeah at least we''ll have a laugh!
Herb 0 Posted October 15, 2006 Perhaps he should start with that legendary Bushism "You''re either with us or against us"Better suited to the position our club finds itself in than international diplomacy I''d say.

coming on strong 0 Posted October 15, 2006 Let''s hope that any Granty gaffes aren''t as bad as this one :-President Bush: "Peter. Are you going to ask that question with shades on?"Peter Wallsten of the Los Angeles Times: "I can take them off."Bush: "I''m interested in the shade look, seriously."Wallsten: "All right, I''ll keep it, then."Bush: "For the viewers, there''s no sun."Wallsten: "I guess it depends on your perspective."Bush: "Touche."An exchange with legally blind reporter Peter Wallsten who has a rare genetic disorder called Stargardt''s Disease, a form of macular degeneration that can be slowed by wearing UV-protective sunglasses and avoiding exposure to bright light.Bush later apologized. nutty nigel 7,509 Posted October 15, 2006 Lets hope we don''t get post match quotes like the following that were made into a poem..I think we all agree, the past is over. This is still a dangerous world. It''s a world of madmen and uncertainty and potential mental losses. Rarely is the question asked Is our children learning? Will the highways of the Internet become more few? How many hands have I shaked? They misunderestimate me. I am a pitbull on the pantleg of opportunity. I know that the human being and the fish can coexist. Families is where our nation finds hope, where our wings take dream. Put food on your family! Knock down the tollbooth! Vulcanize society!
