Dame to Blame

Players ratings against Cardiff

Recommended Posts

A great first half and should have been at least 3-0 up with earnie missing a couple of sitters although you have to give credit to there keeper who made a great save from Earnie came of his line very quickly. The second half was a different story the forwards did not press and sat back this in turn made the defence sit back and invite pressure from Cardiff although funny enough Cardiff never really tested Ashdown despite all there possesion.

Ashdown- 6 looked confident and handled well but lost a few points for some awful kicking but he looks imposing .
Drury- 8 Had a great game we missed him badly during his injury.
Docherty-8 Fantastic at the back won every header
Shackell-8 as above looked in total control
Colin-7 another solid preformance

Robinson - did ok and kept thinks simple
Etuhu-9 my man of the match was awsome at times and ran the midfild in the first half and what a great goal.
Safri-8 Safri is Safri worked hard broke up there play and started our moves another inspiring display .

Croft-7 100 % as usual great team player .
Huckerby- 6 off the pace today not his greatest game and he looked knackered in the second half as he had to work back a lot more than he ever did playing for worthy like Gingerpele said Granty won''t stand for any slacking and he subbed him with 20 mins to go.
Earnie-6 poor finishing today and was not exsistent in the second half.

McVeigh- 3 rubbish and let the team down Granty was not impressed in after match interview.

Granty - Always waving instructions and was not afraid to make big decisions today IE Ashdown replacing Gallacher and subbing local hero Huckerby great start for him and after not being that pleased with his appointment he is impressing me greatly with his comments and tatics well done Granty the board look like they have made a great choice so far.
