Jim Smith 2,598 Posted September 26, 2006 VinceAre Archant doing anything (or can they do anything) to prevent this poll being rigged by ipswich fans going on there voting for him to stay because that is sure to happen when they get wind of it?
Pete Raven 276 Posted September 26, 2006 150 so far.
Web Team - Vince 0 Posted September 26, 2006 We have no way of telling who anyone is, so all web polls can be rigged to some extent. But we will be keeping a watch out for sudden swings.I''ve also set up a poll in this forum - http://new.pinkun.com/cs/forums/758390/ShowPost.aspx - which is restricted to people who have signed up to the Archant membership system, which means only one vote per email login (unlike our ones on the main site that have been hijacked in the past). It won''t stop rival fans voting, but it should slow them down.

Fat Barman 0 Posted September 26, 2006 You made me spill my pint, Rude Old! ROFL [:D]Paul''s quite pleasant in person - I often feel he''d come across better in a pub debate than on these boards! Traditional forums (fora?) have their advantages - unfortunately, with fans spread so far afield, technology''s location!location!location! advantage tends to give it the edge.I have to go and change my shirt before I start my shift! Citizen Journalist Foghorn 0 Posted September 26, 2006 I would like to know the tallies at 1.23, the time Ipswich fans started voting.
Jim Smith 2,598 Posted September 26, 2006 This has clearly been doctored by Ipswich fans who are gloating over on their board. please could the archant boys confirm that this poll (the EN one) will not be held up and quoted in the papers tomorrow as being representative of fan opinion. It was about 95% out before they got wind of its existence.

blahblahblah 2 Posted September 27, 2006 doctored by Ipswich fans, doctored by outers, what''s the difference ?They''re all block voters no matter which way you see them.
Baldyboy 1 Posted September 27, 2006 why assume outers have doctored it blahx3? can you still not accept that the majority of fans want worthington out? you always have to cast assumptions on the worthy outers.

Buncey 1 Posted September 27, 2006 I e-mailed the webteam asking for a poll, so dunno if you responded to me personally or many people. I know the old one was rigged. But if you minus the 10% which will ipswich fans then it''ll be realitic but shows how few fans ipswich have if they can only get 12% of the vote....
