Needed an ex Canary great

To unite the fans we need a Canary great to unite the factions.  Bowen or Crook, maybe Williams or Stringer not Bruce or Iwan just yet, I wan as part of dream team maybe.

A stranger would be under pressure from day one a former canary would get a little longer.

Ian Crook the better option Bowen maybe more in demand and sees current debacle from closer than Oz.

Nice idea. I was initially pleased to see Doug Livermore come back to roost......but talking to people who knew him at Spurs and Liverpool they had little good to say about him. A ''character'' was the best they could say.

As a past club hero, Ian Crook would be great and perhaps his coaching overseas may have broadened his abilities. He remains my idea of how the game should be played. Teamed up with another Canary great, Mark Bowen it could be impressive. Bowen, apart from being a superb player for us, now has magerial experience at both International and club level........also some of the stardust from Sparky Hughes might have rubbed off.

No has beens though please....and I don''t think Curbishley would shine again at this level. Been there...done that.................
