mj 0 Posted October 1, 2006 I would also like to express my sincere thanks to Nigel, many fans have short memories - I remember visits to Vale Park, getting hit for 6, and being turned over at Swindon and Oxford. It has not always been play off finals and the Premiership. I say this as the "vast" protest outside the ground at the final whistle was led by 15 year old children spoilt by the glamour and glitz of modern day football. So thankyou Nigel for giving me two of the best seasons Ive had following the canaries home and away over the past 12 years, your efforts will not be forgotten and in time others will realise this too. Above all you have left with dignity and pride and remain one of only 6 managers to bring silverware to Carrow Road. Many thanks mate, and good luck.
shyster 0 Posted October 1, 2006 Was this thread - http://http://new.pinkun.com/cs/forums/762074/ShowPost.aspx - at the top of the forum not good enough to reply to, or do you consider yourself that an important individual that creating a separate thread to express your gratitude to Worthington was the only way to go?
