Good For Malky

Recommended Posts

It was good to see Malky get a full game in the Premiership today even though his team lost. He''s obviously been a good steady professional over the years getting close a few times, only to surely feel disappointment on a number of fronts.

Isn''t it strange how Nigel Worthington sold him 3 years ago saying he couldn''t play in the Premiership with Norwich because he is too old?

ditto the comments.

Malky has been nothing but classy, considering he has had some serious disapointments in his career.

(note to Leon, thats how a "Pro" handles this stuff)

Hope he enjoys every moment as it is well deserved.

He would have been very useful cover this season too. Having Flem as our only cover at centre back isn''t an ideal situation!

I doubt Malky ever strays onto his former club''s messageboards, but I would just like to add my congratulations and best wishes to him.  At last he gets the taste of action in the Prem.  Hope you and Watford manage to survive Malky, and you get some more action after all that waiting.

He was unlucky with a good header from a set piece.

How many of you can remember goals from set pieces, oh yes, it was when Malky played here.

Two years ago he could have played in the Prem and done a job.

He really deserves it.  Had a horrible feeling he would never play a Premiership game but hopefully he''ll be involved in plenty more now.   Well done Malky!!!

Good player, good professional and a good bloke.  Leon, you should watch and learn from this guy.

Correct , Malky  is not only a pro , he`s a man !   whereas  McKenzie  is a child in a mans body  ....  who wants the lifestyle of Beckham   ,  but has only the talent  of a midfielder   in a pub side  , with apologies to pub sides  !!      [:|]

I agree it was good to see Malky finally get his chance and to do reasonably well at last.

But dont forget that Malky was not pushed out of Norwich;  like Leon he wanted to leave because he wasnt happy to sit on the bench at the start of the season.

Delighted to see the ''Big Man'' finally get his chance to shine and nearly scored as well.

We made a mistake to get rid of him, since even as a squad payer he would still be excallant. Still time moves on.

Well done Malky, you''re still a legend down here, a true hero in a

footballer''s body.  Third time lucky, and about time too!

Well done Aidy Boothroyd for recognising talent when he sees it - Malky

may not be the most technically gifted footballer, but he is a presence

in that back four, a calming influence and an organiser.  How we

need that now... (on his day, Shackell resembles Malky in many ways,

but he''s still young and learning).
