Referees & Corner decisions

Recommended Posts

Well thats two matches in a row now where an incorrect referee decison on an injury time corner has cost us points.

On Tuesday at Southend in the 92nd minute , Earnshaw''s shot was blocked and went over the bar, Rennie awarded a goal kick instead if a corner, preventing us from playing short and killing the last 30 seconds of the match, we know what happened next.

Today, this time a corner is awarded to Palace when it clearly came off a Palace player which again resulted in a goal. I''m not suggesting we deserved anything from the match today but it doesn''t make being cheated out of a point any easier to take.

Rennie and D''Urso, you''ve cost us 3 points you pair of cheating ****s !!

[/quote]Don''t be silly ineptitude cost us today. There was 2 crap sides out there today and palace still out played us in the second half. We failed to test the keeper for 90 mins at home. Wake up and smell the $hite we played. Don''t make sad excuses it does us less credit than the result.

Totally agree with Hardhouse 44. We can pick up on one-off refereeing " mistakes " till the cows come home but if a home team in the same league can''t test the away keeper in 90 minutes of play then clearly something needs to be done.

Should the present manager remain at Carrow Road for much longer then I fear we''re in for a long ol'' season.......
