Where is Drury?

Recommended Posts

Where is Adam Drury today? I notice Boyle is in at left-back!

Please don''t tell me it''s the baby thing...someone needs to introduce him to Freddie Flintoff.

"Left back Patrick Boyle, who joined City on a month''s loan from Everton on Thursday, was thrust straight into the first team for this afternoon''s clash with Crystal Palace.

Boyle, just 19, and yet to start a league match, was called up when City skipper Adam Drury was ruled out by an ankle injury."

Match report starting to go up on this site.

my missus clocked him in the jarrold stand with hucks and LJ - and got them to sign her shirt (back).  he''s injured apparently, he was wearing an oversized plastic shoe on his right foot with she thinks some kind of protection underneath, so looks like he''s sprained it.

well, i wish him a speedy recovery

but to be fair

i think Boyle had a really good game today, solid, made some good important tackles, looked comftable and pretty good going foward.

Should give Drury a fair fight for his place anyway.

and Considering he has had what, two training sessions with the lads?

he was outstanding today, just behind Gallagher for man of the match.

[/quote]I agree AJ, even without considering he''s not played a league game this season (or ever?) he looked a decent left back, only thing that let him down were a couple of duff crosses, but thats being picky. The lad did well.
