The Duke of Norfolk 0 Posted September 17, 2006 This was not so much to do with the teams performance, but to do with the boards attitude.Serious questions need to be asked to this board of ours as to where they see this club going. #They decided to go against the majority opinion of the fans and to retain NW as manager. However, in making this decision they imo force him into a corner by not (on the surface) appearing to give him adequate funds with which to strenghten a squad that so clearly needs strengthening.Just what is your aim Mr Doncaster? Are you so reluctant to pay off NW''s contract that you gambled by retaining him as manager and then not giving him any money with which to strengthen an already thin squad so as to see how he did before making your decision after 10/12 games as to whether he is the man for the job?Are you withholding funds from NW in case he does not turn things around so that you can give them to the new manager?Just what the hell are you playing at?I for one am losing enthusiasm for this club as it appears to lack ambition and i can asure you as are many others. This may not worry you now as you have sold all season tickets for this season but if we don''t go up this year the numbers will drop each season and it will be down to your (at the moment) seemingly pathetic attempts to get this club promoted again that will be the cause.
