I''m assuming for Croft that he knew it was pretty much a done deal but why disclose the information about Greeno? Is this a done deal? I''m living in he hope that we have had a few "enquiries" and that we are hoping to start a bidding war between a few clubs.Anyhow, I think it shows that if there is something worth telling and if they are permitted, the club will let the fans know what happening.
